Dan Gillespie
Dan Gillespie is the founder and owner of ColorGeek, Inc., a color consulting company located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where Dan has lived for almost 20 years.

Established in 1999, ColorGeek, Inc. is an independent organization that has built a solid reputation by providing exceptional on-site integration and training of color related products in the graphic arts industry. As a reseller for and certified in most popular products, the company can tailor customized turnkey systems. It also offers color tune-ups, annual service agreements and annual support contracts, and an online remote profiling service. ColorGeekÕs seminars and workshops can be customized for small or large groups of customer service representatives, sales people, or technical staff. The companyÕs product offerings, as well as its on-site and remote services, position ColorGeek as a complete solutions provider.

Dan became involved with color reproduction in the late 1980s while working as a scanner operator and production artist at a local newspaper. In 1994, Dan accepted a position with a national graphic arts reseller as an application/color specialist and technical trainer. During his seven year tenure there, he created curriculums for new training courses, evaluated products, developed vendor relations, and performed installations and trainings nationwide on color-related products.

Having this extensive experience to guide him, Dan was ready to start his own business - one that would be vital in the new era of digital printing. Since this realization, Dan has worked tirelessly to develop ColorGeek,Inc. and ColorGeek.com, and after just six years, has launched his company to one of the industry's most trusted and highly regarded color consultanting firms. ColorGeek boasts a client list that reads like a who's who of the printing and publishing industries, providing their digital proofing systems and color management workflows. Dan makes it okay to be a "Geek".
